In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of audio post-production using a digital audio workstation (DAW). Over several weeks we’ll cover basics of recording, cutting and arranging clips, adding EQ and effects, mixing multitrack sessions, automating keyframes, and exporting the finished project. In this version of the workshop, we’ll be focussing on audio storytelling techniques for creating engaging podcasts or longform audio that combines scripted text, interviews and other vocal material, plus sound effects and music.
Students are encouraged to bring their own project with them, or we can provide example exercises to work with.
Let’s learn to mix!
