Adobe Premiere is the leading tool for video editing. First released in 1991, it has evolved to become a powerful and intuitive technology. For some, Premiere has a steep learning curve. The answer is to dive right in, with the help of a good teacher. This workshop will teach you all the basics of editing: assembling footage and assets, the multitrack editing toolkit, effects & transformations, color correction, audio, titles, and finishing. Students are encouraged to bring their own projects, or we can provide a several to choose from. After the workshop, with ongoing practice, you’ll be on your way to becoming a professional editor.

Note: We can provide a laptop for use in the workshop, if needed.

5 sessions of 2 hours. The registration fee covers all 5 sessions.
