Description
Building on the popular Write Like a Pro workshop, this six-week, non-fiction writing intensive is designed to guide participants through a piece of writing from beginning to publication. Participants should come with an idea (or an already-started piece of writing) and be prepared to write in between workshop sessions. Each session will include guided individual exercises and time to share and receive feedback from your peers and instructor. Participants will get access to practical tools, including a database of Canadian and international publications accepting non-fiction submissions. Over the course of the workshop, we’ll work on shaping your idea, structuring your story, and making your sentences sing. At the end of the six weeks, you’ll have a finished piece to put out into the world.
